Lisa of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Plays Fashion Designer - StyleList

Boz of TLC in last night's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we also got some feather extension more info on cast member Lisa Wu Hartwell's new fashion line, named, um, Closet Freak. "I really want it to be lower end, kind of casual stuff," Hartwell explains at a meeting with her sketch artist and husband. "Closet Freak was created to instill confidence in women worldwide so that you don't have to dress provocatively, but always be sophisticated and elegant. You can't show all the goods, some things should be left for the bedroom." Hartwell, who says she's worked on a few clothing lines in the past, is going head-to-head with Sheree Whitfeld's She by Sheree Feather hair line, which proved a disaster last season with ill-fitting samples and a fashion show sans clothes."We know she's not that into fashion," Whitfeld says, taking a stab at Hartwell. "We know she's not designing the line, so it'd be fair to say the designer is doing everything for Lisa." Slow down, Sheree, we know you can't sketch or sew, either. We couldn't wait for next week's fashion showdown between the two, and, luckily, we didn't have to. Essence.com covered Hartwell's fashion show in May -- the same show Bravo will broadcast next Thursday. It seems it was Hair extensions a mix of tragedy -- a purple silk jumper with a mass of black fabric on the bust, red animal print chiffon -- and a couple triumphs, including a floral jumpsuit and fuchsia romper. Now we're cringing just thinking about what Whitfeld is going to come up with. And that's not the only line that makes us cringe -- see who else has our style senses all abuzz here.
